The engine room is ready and waiting. It was very dirty and not becoming a engine that sports a brand new paint job. Bring out the bright white BilgeKote... my old nemesis. No matter how careful I am, I always get as much paint on me as I do the object I'm painting, (a slight exaggeration but not much). Nevertheless, The engine room is now ready...and WAITING. "Scotty, we need more power!"
The boatyard can't tend to my engine install until Tuesday morning. Actually, they are only placing the engine back into the engine room, I will be doing the hook-up, install, and restart. Of course I have never done anything like this before but with the help of others who have experience, I'm sure I'll do fine.

DeleteIt's great stuff...but be careful... it seeks out skin and hair and always finds it with me.
Looking good! Hopefully you had some mineral spirits around this time! Don't skimp on the 2nd and 3rd coats of paint if you can. The trick is to very lightly sand the last coat with 320 sand paper and then wipe with acetone and repaint. The additional coats really make a world of difference. (If you haven't already). Goodluck with the engine install!

DeleteI ran out of BilgeKote and have to buy another gallon at least. Thanks for the advice. I thought I would need at least two coats in some places.
I got a rigging question for Tate (or you if you good with standing rigging) I'll have to ask it on Facebook...got a pic to go with it.
