The Navigation Station

The Navigation Station, (Nav Station), is immediately to starboard, (right side of the boat facing forward), and is where most navigation electronics, VHF Radio, SSB, and various other pieces of equipment go and are used to successfully navigate the boat. I have a laptop with Coastal Explorer as my navigation software and it will be here... but not right now... why? Because the station is a mess. Below is a picture of the station once cleaned up. Still a mess and in need of repair.

Now that the boat is somewhat dry, the next step is doing all the jobs necessary to get the boat back in the water and moved to a nearby marina. That includes the Nav Station, electrical panel, engine room painted, engine re-installed, mast wired, rigged, and stepped, and the list goes on a little more... So, might as well start with the Nav Station.

We'll post more pics as the project proceeds...

Fair seas and God bless!

  1. Just found you site, thanks to Sundowner. Sounds like you have a nice set up with a supporting construction trailer. Look forward to following you progress. Looks like you are in florida, anywhere near Jacksonville?

    1. Hi Mike,

I'm on the East Coast, but a little farther down however, in Stuart.

I did get lucky concerning this W32, she's loaded with lot's of stuff, I'm still sorting through it all.

Thanks for stopping by. See you around, BTW, my W28 is for sale if you know anyone who's looking for a Westsail.

      Thanks
