The Main Cabin Renovation Continued...

The house paneling is complete... (obviously, all the uneven tops and gaps will be covered by trim). There's not a lot to say that wasn't covered in the previous post; so here are the pics.

Headliner tomorrow....

  1. It's really turning out pretty well. Nice way to brighten the interior without using paint.

      I used the two board look on the house paneling and the three board look for the headliner, (tonight's blog). I'll stain all the trim to match the boat interior stain which should give it a bright classic look. I'm playing with the idea of some minor trim in hemp rope which will give the interior that nautical feel.

    2. The rope idea sounds pretty good. I've seen pictures of people using rope on the outer edge of older wooden dinghy's that give them nice traditional looks.
