"Rain, Rain, Go away!"

After arriving at the boat and being ready to empty out the main cabin of EVERYTHING in order to prep for painting, the totally unexpected happened...RAIN! Can you believe it? I mean we've only had a million inches in the last two months! So, I shut myself in and rode out the storm singing the "Rain, rain, go away" saying.

Eventually, I was able to empty the boat out, tape off all the trim, finish sanding drawers and doors, and get her ready for painting tomorrow.

If I needed to get into the V-Berth to stop the boat from sinking,well,... "Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip..."

Pics below...

Fair seas and God bless!

  1. I've done the same thing the last time I had my boat on the trailer. It would rain and I would just do some work on the inside of the boat instead.

Still makes for a good day.
